Last night I dreamt that men’s genitals were made out of strings of letters and interchangeable fonts.
After surveying what seemed like millions of peen-fonts, I decided I liked Museo Sans best. A nice, tidy sans serif.
Yes – the very font that graces the body of this text right now. Deal with that, Dr. Freud.
So, I’ve been thinking a lot about things I coud do to earn a extra money while Lars is India and my list goes something like this:
1. Get a part-time job in a store or coffee shop? XXX {sound of Family Feud, “You’re effing wrong!” buzzer}
2. Yard Sale? Sure, maybe – I do have clean out our back room and closet, like big time.
3. Hookering? Eh, too gross/dangerous.
4. Plastic bottle collecting? Eh, the the bird-caller guy and the lady with the rice hat have already cornered our neighborhood market.
5. Freelance design work? Hmmm. I’ve been thinking about this for awhile; making cards, invitations, blog headers, web stuff, whatnot, just to have a little change to jingle in my pocket. Couldn’t hurt, plus it would help me practice and build up a, uhh, what’d they call it? A porfolio er somethin’.
So, yeah – if you or anyone you know would need such things and wouldn’t mind throwing a pittance my way – hook me up, yo! (I’m also down for trading stuff too).
In building up my arsenal I’ve acquired a massive, mega crap load of new fonts and brushes, which brings me to the title of this post, Font Crushin’. I’ve found some real gems lately. Here are some of my faves:
