When in doubt, you should always give photos. Thank Jeebus the girls are in school now so I can give class pictures as a last resort. I know that I always love getting pictures m’self. I mean, I never actually print them out and put them in a frame, so it’s such a nice giftie.

If it’s any consolation, I’ve been doing the exact same thing lately. Our lives are filled with so much to take our minds off of anything unpleasant that it makes sense that all this crap would come flooding in when we take the single rest we get all day. Maybe we need to start meditating or making time during the day to worry about shit so that it doesn’t effect our beauty sleep. That or we need to find a nice tall prescription for Valium.

I tried this last spring and made it to about chapter four during my first reading. Any time I tried to pick it up after that, I couldn’t read more than a few sentences without wanting to huck.

Aw, man. I wish we could come up and share some of the Windy City joy with you. Unfortunately, I don’t think we can swing it.

You might also want to look into the Shedd Aquarium and the Field Museum, both of which are right there on the shore of Lake Michigan and well worth seeing. I’m jealous about the FLW thing though. I’d love to go there but haven’t yet. Take lots of pictures and let us know how it goes.
