Pinterest is a wonderful tool. It’s like a recipe box wrapped in a inspiration board wrapped in a zen garden. I’ve found so many wonderful recipes, makeup ideas and outfits there. It’s a great place to go when you’re stuck in a rut of any kind to get new ideas and feel inspired.
This afternoon, after a long day of working from home I was craving some breaded cheese sticks like in a nearly psychotic way. Having a spouse with a gluten intolerance on one hand is great because I’m not shoving bread and pasta in my face every minute, but on the other hand, when a craving hits it’s like a punch to the tits from the Hulk.
Anyway, what? Oh, yes – cheese balls. I found this very simple recipe via Pinterest that only required three ingredients and I happened to have them all. String Cheese, Milk and breadcrumbs. I only had gluten-free breadcrumbs on hand, but how much of a difference could that make?
Well. See for yourself. The blogger’s finished product on the left and my results on the right.
What’s the moral of this story? Cheese is delicious. Pinterest is good.
